Get to know the 20|20's Settings menu.

Updated February 18, 2023

The Settings menu lets you configure the 20|20 itself, independently of the equipment you run it on or the hardware you have on that equipment.

Find the Settings Menu

To get to the Settings menu, simply go to the main Setup menu, and then select Settings in the sidebar. (You can reach the main Setup menu from anywhere by tapping Home, if you're not already on the home screen, and then Setup.)

When you arrive at the Settings menu, you'll see a quick overview of three key settings:

  1. Your current software version compared against the most recent update available for download.
  2. The Panorama operation your 20|20 is currently paired with.
  3. The Wi-Fi Network you are currently connected to.

Tapping on any one of those will take you to the page where you can fix those values, if they are incorrect.

Otherwise, you can use the sidebar to navigate to various other settings:

  • In Data, you can import, export, or delete the data stored on your 20|20.
  • In Display, you can change your Gen3 Display's settings, like sound and brightness. You can also go here to run a diagnostic test (see below for details), and to restart your system or put it in temporary standby (just tap the screen again to revive it).
  • In Region, you can customize your season start date, change your language, switch between imperial and metric units, and adjust your time zone.
  • And finally, in About, you can view the technical details about your 20|20: serial numbers, memory usage, the license agreement, and networking details. This page is primarily for debugging purposes, and also for Dealers who want to reset the EULA before handing the 20|20 over to customers.

Test Your Touch Screen

To verify that your touch screen is working properly, go to Settings, tap Display in the sidebar, and then select the Touch Screen Test. This will cause the screen to go black except for a temporary message. Use your finger to "paint" the whole screen (or at least the parts you want to test) to make sure it's registering your touch correctly. When you're done, touch and hold the screen for at least five full seconds without moving your finger.
