Manual swath control tips
Manually swath individual rows; check for these best practices for most efficient use.
- Are your control products swathed off? When using manual swath control, they will not output, if so.
- Is your swath control switch on the Cab Control Module (CCM) in the up position? It needs to be for manual swath control to work.
Option 1: Home screen swath control bar
Add a swath control bar to the home screen in place of the Dashboard Mini Chart.
Go to the large map tab at the top of the home screen.
- Manually swath off rows on the planter from the home screen.
- Press and hold the box representing the row you want to swath off.
- Yellow means the row has swathed off.
- Drag a finger across multiple rows to turn off at once.
Once rows have been manually swathed off, rows will not swath off to boundaries or coverage until reset.
Reset to automatic mode
Reset to automatic mode at any time by pressing the reset button on the left side of the swath control bar. It will then display “swath.”
Option 2: Control pages
Find the option for manual swath control at the bottom of the screen for control pages for vDrive, vSet Select, or mSet. Press and hold individual rows to swath off.
Alternatively, use the arrow buttons below the rows to swath rows on and off.
Reset to automatic mode
Reset to automatic mode at any time by pressing the swath automatic button.
Option 3: Dashboard Mini Chart
With the Dashboard Mini Chart at the bottom of the screen, select the name of the chart you want to control. Find the name directly above the Setup button.
- Scroll the navigation pane to the bottom of the list on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Select swath control.
- Select individual rows to swath on and off.
- Alternatively, use the clutch arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen to swath off and on.
Reset to automatic mode
Reset to automatic mode at any time by pressing the swath automatic button.
